Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has admitted he helped convince Aaron Ramsey to join him at Juventus.Ramsey was reduced to tears as he bid farewell to the club following their home match with Brighton, after 11 years at the Emirates ahead of his free transfer switch to Juventus.

He asked me for some advice. “I told him: Its easy. If Juve call you, you can only say yes.“Thats how it went and it means Aaron listens to me.“Hes had five months to prepare and hes already picked up a little bit.“When I took him to dinner, he said more than just a hello. He partly understood me and thats a good basis to work from.
