The 26-year-old has again been linked with a move away from the Red Devils now he is consistently playing at an elite level, and Pogba himself hinted at a potential transfer to Real Madrid.Pogba was quizzed on Los Blancos during the recent international break following Zinedine Zidane’s return to the Bernabeu dugout, and he described Real as a ‘dream club’.“Like Ive always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone,” said Pogba. “Its one of the biggest clubs in the world.“There is also Zidane as a coach and its a dream for anybody who likes football.“For now, Im at Manchester. We dont know what the future holds. Im at Manchester and Im happy.”The latest reports claim Pogba has turned down a new contract with the Red Devils as Real are planning a 125million bid for him, but Solskjaer downplayed fears the midfielder could leave Old Trafford this summer. Speaking in a press conference on Monday morning, Solskjaer – who won his first match as United’s permanent manager on Saturday – said:“I don’t like to talk about other teams’ players but this is another challenge with international breaks. Players are available all the time.“It’s a different environment, it’s more of a general talk and Paul is a very nice and polite man who answered a general question.“Zidane is an icon in France, Zidane is a fantastic manager, he used to be a fantastic player – I played against him myself – and Paul has just politely answered that question.“Paul’s happy here and he’s going to be a big, big part. I’ve always said that you’d like to build your team around him and that hasn’t changed at all.”The confirmation of Solskjaer as permanent manager on a three-year deal is expected to be followed by the appointment of a director of football, with Solskjaer acknowledging that he alone cannot carry the burden – as managers such as Sir Alex Ferguson did in the past.

Solskjaer added: “Football has changed and the structure at football clubs have changed. That’s just the way football goes.“A manager can’t do as much as he used to do when my gaffer started, for example.“Me and Ed (Woodward, executive vice-chairman) and Joel (Glazer, co-chairman), we are looking at how can this club be run as smoothly and as well as possible.“We’ll see what the club will end up with and I’m happy talking and discussing football with knowledgeable people in the right positions.”Solskjaer was unveiled as United’s permanent manager last week2
