The tie was essentially settled just minutes later when, from another exceptional delivery, Llorente managed to nod home for Spurs.

Deployed at left back (presumably to deal with the threat of Sancho), the Belgium international was initially caught too far up in the first half.However, his incredible work rate and desire to get forward effectively nullified the England international.His incredible cross for Son was delightfully tapped home and, after another lung-bursting run, the 31-year-old scored his second of the season.4

Although he ended up on the losing side, Sancho produced an exceptional moment of magic to leave Davinson Sanchez looking rather silly.Picking the ball up on the right hand side, the former Manchester City winger drove at the heart of the Spurs defence.Sanchez backed off in the hope of nicking the ball off the 18-year-old, but was subsequently turned inside out with a breath-taking piece of skill – which fans on Twitter clearly loved.
