He currently earns just 3,000-a-week on a deal that runs until 2021, and West Ham made an offer to raise his salary to a reported 15,000-a-week – though that was knocked back by Rice.A new and improved offer is now believed to have been tabled that will see Rice earn 21,000-a-week, while he’ll also be paid 20,000 for every Premier League start with a 5,000 wage increase after every 15 league appearances.Despite reports claiming the improved offer was submitted over a month ago, Rice remains on his original deal as talks have reached an impasse.
